Liferay Developer

We are looking for a skilled Liferay Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in both front-end and back-end development using Liferay version 7.4. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end portal solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. This role requires expertise in Java, React, and AWS within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust Liferay Portal solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
• Design and build custom themes, portlets, hooks, and extensions in Liferay.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of Liferay applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Liferay deployment and customization.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Conduct unit testing and support integration and system testing rocesses.

Required Qualifications:

• 5–8 years of experience in IT with strong Java/JavaEE background.
• Hands-on experience with Liferay Portal (version 7.4 required).
• Proficiency in Java 8+, Java EE 7/8, and related technologies.
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Experience working with React for front-end components.
• Familiarity with AWS services for cloud deployment and integration.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience integrating Liferay with other enterprise systems and APIs.
• Knowledge of Liferay DXP and custom plugin/module development.
• Understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
