Lead Technical Architect - SOA

The Senior Associate II Full Stack Developer contributes towards the design and development of multi-terabyte marketing solutions that integrate and optimize our client's data across numerous sources. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of multiple development environments and languages such as Java, .NET, C#, Python, ReactJS, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL. The primary function of this role is the integration of applications with Merkle’s marketing database solutions and third-party web/cloud services to meet client business objectives. You will have an opportunity to create middle-ware (SOA) services, back-end, and front-end web components for Merkle’s renowned marketing solutions.

Key responsibilities:

Create middle-ware (SOA) services, back-end, and front-end web components for Merkle’s renowned marketing solutions 

Developing n-tier applications and middle-ware services 

Technical leader to junior-level developers. Mentoring and advising coding best practices. Conduct regular code reviews. 

Responsible for designing new solutions, including researching new technologies when necessary and documenting solution design 

Hands-on development and support of client deliverables 

Working on cloud technology; AWS, GCP, and/or Azure 

Working on database architecture/design including data modeling (Erwin helpful) 

Working on multiple Operating Systems (Linux, Red Hat Linux, UNIX, Windows Server, Windows XP/7) 

Web security fundamentals, types of attacks, and remediation 

ETL concepts, processes, and tools such as SSIS, Talend, Informatica, or DataStage 

Strong knowledge of software engineering and development methodologies, techniques, and tools
