Lead Salesforce Functional Analyst

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Salesforce Functional Analyst to drive solution design, lead business requirement gathering, and guide the delivery of Salesforce (SFDC) implementations across key business areas. 

This role provides an opportunity to work on innovative projects involving Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, IoT Cloud, and Communities within a fast-growing organization in the medical device industry. 

You will play a critical leadership role in translating business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions while collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders and maintaining a strong focus on user experience, data integrity, and platform optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert and lead initiatives from concept to delivery with minimal supervision.
• Write requirements using various methods such as use cases, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and process or system modeling.
• Conduct impact assessments and level-of-effort estimations with cross-functional teams.
• Configure and manage SFDC components including custom objects, workflows, triggers, and integrations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders (Customer Care, Marketing, R&D, Sales, IT, etc.) to ensure alignment with standardized tools and processes.
• Provide UI/UX feedback and ensure wireframes align with system architecture.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, user stories, workflow diagrams, and functional maps.
• Stay current on Salesforce features and suggest enhancements aligned with strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience, Master’s degree and 6+ years, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a business or technical analyst role, especially in commercial functions such as sales, marketing, or call centers.
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience supporting Salesforce.com and multiple integrated systems in an SMB or enterprise environment.
• Proven experience in Salesforce functional configuration.
• Proficient in creating functional mock-ups, flowcharts, and technical documentation.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into system design and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Solid understanding of use cases, user interactions, and database architecture to support scalable reporting and business intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Computer Engineering.
• Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical or medical devices.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification.
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Knowledge of Lean Business Process (LBP) frameworks or similar process improvement practices.
