Description

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate annually on roadmap planning with all stakeholders.
  • Manage financial aspects of projects and business as usual (BAU) for the country.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end delivery for assigned releases.
  • Define and communicate comprehensive release plans to stakeholders.
  • Track and ensure timely delivery of releases according to plan.
  • Coordinate with partners to align schedules with BDO's (Business Development Organization)  release calendar.
  • Engage delivery resources effectively for projects.
  • Actively manage and influence various stakeholders, negotiating deadlines and resolving delivery issues.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with releases.
  • Oversee BDO's (Business Development Organization) change management process for every release.
  • Continuously evaluate project development, providing solutions for complex challenges impacting progress.
  • Ensure stable solutions, facilitate production handover, and establish adequate support and ownership for all deliveries.
  • Plan capacities for ongoing and upcoming releases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in project delivery, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering large, complex IT projects involving diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Agile development methodologies; experience as a ScrumMaster preferred.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and drive significant transformations.
  • Ability to grasp technical issues at a high level.
  • Proactive and adaptable, comfortable working with minimal specifications.
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong team player and adept at building cohesive teams.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, time management, and risk management skills.

Ideal Candidate:

15-18 years of experience managing large and complex releases, with exposure to CI/CD and GitHub

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering
