Lead Kubernetes Engineer

Skills: TKGI, Concourse, ISTIO, Scripting in Python/Bash, NodeJS, Linux, Cloud Foundry experience, Agile, CICD, DevOps, VMware/vSphere experience, Service Mesh/Load Balancers, Observability (monitoring, logging e.g. Splunk, Grafana, AppD, New Relic, Elastic)

Required Qualifications:

Overall 8+ years of software engineering experience, 3+ years working with TKGI/Kubernetes and have a proven track record of building complex infrastructure programmatically through automation and scripting.

• 3+ years of experience with Cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, The Twelve-Factor App methodology).
• 3+ years of experience with building, deploying, and securing cloud platforms and applications.
• 3+ years of experience with Linux
• 3+ years of experience in scripting (Shell, Python, nodeJS)
• 3+ years of Kubernetes or Cloud Foundry experience
• 3+ years of experience with Agile, CI/CD, DevOps concepts.
• 2+ years of experience with monitoring, logging, observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, AppD, New Relic, Elastic, Open Telemetry)

Desired Qualifications:

• 3+ years of VMWare, vSphere experience
• 3+ years of experience in designing and engineering cloud native solutions.
• 2+ years of experience with modern SDLC practices (Test Driven Development, Trunk Based Development, GitOps)
• 2+ years of experience with Helm, Kustomize, Argo CD, Flux
• 2+ years of experience working with service mesh, load balancers, DDI
• Experience working with cloud security management or governance tools.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to articulate technical solutions to both technical and business audiences.
• Ability to deliver & engage with partners effectively in a multi-cultural environment by demonstrating co-ownership & accountability in a matrix structure.
