Lead Java Developer

Required Qualifications:

· 10+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
· 10+ years of experience with end-to-end design and delivery of microservices/web services (API) applications
· 10+ years of Java/Spring experience
· 10+ years of Oracle experience
· 5+ years of LINUX/UNIX experience
· 5+ years of Agile experience

Desired Qualifications:

· Web Services/Microservicesdelivery experience on internal or external cloud platforms
· Experience supporting or directing offshore teams
· Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence or Jira
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
· Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
· Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
· Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
· Knowledge and understanding of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies - static/dynamic testing
· Experience with Kafka and PubSub patterns tools
· Knowledge and understanding of cloud readiness/cloud design principles for Java/Spring applications
· Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse, geographically distributed team (including onshore and offshore)
· Experience with one or more Observability/Monitoringtools: Elastic, Kibana, Grafana, AppDynamics, New Relic, DataDog, Splunk, TrueSight
· Experience or familiarity with Apigee or API Management tools.
