Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer / Product Manager to manage and guide our dynamic team of software developers and engineers. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development process and aligning the product roadmap. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and product management experience.
Key Responsibilities
# Product Development & Management
Oversee the entire software development lifecycle
Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Prioritize product features and requirements
Ensure the product meets high-quality standards and performance benchmarks.
Project Management
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate with the Project Manager to track progress
Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
# Technical Oversight
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, cloud computing, and software development.
- Ensure best practices in software engineering, DevOps, and QA are followed.
- Oversee the integration of AI technologies into the product.
- Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance productivity.
# Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary liaison between the development team and senior management.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and deliverables to all stakeholders.
- Gather feedback from clients and internal teams to inform product improvements.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development.
- At least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or Lead Engineer in a tech environment.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and machine learning algorithms.
- Proficiency with AWS and other cloud platforms.
- Experience with full-stack development and modern programming languages.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the contact centre industry or telecommunications.
- Knowledge of customer experience (CX) strategies and solutions.
- Certifications in Project Management (PMP, Agile, Scrum Master)
- Led a Product Development Project in past
