This role is part of the publishing team. Need someone with Java, XSLT/XPath, and Perl to support XML data translation.
Need strong working knowledge of Git/GitHub repositories and development of workflows to optimize source control and deployment.
- Data Integration Software Engineer will architect and build automated batch workflows to transform and deliver Customer Policy and Billing Insurance data to Publishing and Imaging Platforms.
- This engineering role requires coding with a strong working knowledge of Git/GitHub repositories and development of workflows to optimize source control and deployment.
- Develops and maintains code using Java, XSLT/XPath, and Perl to support XML data translation, batch processing, and integration of data to the Publishing and Imaging Document Platforms.
- Expert in Git/GitHub and setup of new repositories, code migration, and development workflows.
- Reviews code using source control tools such as GitHub. Leverages best practices to identify and resolve defects collaboratively with development and quality assurance teams.
- Lead and promote architecture decisions for Insurance data integration to digital policy billing print solutions.
- Collaborates with the Subject Matter Experts, Development team, and Project Management to define and estimate user stories in Jira.

Desired Skills
- Minimum 6 - 9+ year experience as Data Integration Software Engineer with 2+ years of experience as Technical Lead.
- Experienced with coding using Java, Perl, XML/XSLT/XPath.
- Expertise with source code repositories including GIT/GitHub and Subversion.
- Experience in Agile (story sizing, iteration planning, retrospectives) and waterfall software development practices.
- Knowledge of Cloud platform technologies (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with Insurance Billing and Policy Systems and customer facing digital print solutions (OpenText xPression, xStream, or similar) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
