Client " Planet Group / Southern  Company Services - Atlanta, GA - 4 days onsite - prefer local candidates

-Duration - 12 months

-Interview Process - Video / In-person interview

Must Have - 10+ years of experience in a data engineering or software engineering role focused on data manipulation
*Proven experience writing and optimizing Databricks notebooks
*Deep expertise in SQL, data modeling, and building clean, scalable datasets
*Experience working with both relational databases and NoSQL/data lake environments
*Strong understanding of data normalization and data architecture best practices
*Hands-on experience with tools such as Apache Spark, Hive, and Airflow

Nice to haves:
*Familiarity with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, or similar data governance frameworks
*Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP

Domain - Utilities
Nice to Have - Experience working in a regulated/compliance environment.
