Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, colleagues, and vendors across Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Transformation, IT, Architecture, and Engineering teams to define technology vision, strategy, and solutions.
- Lead the development and ownership of solution architectures for ERM, including reference architectures and related documentation, under GRC Architecture leadership oversight.
- Contribute to the broader Enterprise Architecture within the ERM function.
- Prepare and present architecture documentation and artefacts for peer reviews and governance board approvals.
- Ensure compliance with architecture governance practices and alignment with related strategies in technology, data, cloud, and security.
- Engage with globally distributed teams and stakeholders to share knowledge and coordinate architectural design.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer through comprehensive written documentation and verbal communication.
- Participate in and influence architecture forums, contributing to solution strategies and designs through presentations, documents, and active discussions.
- Support enterprise-level transformation, including the decomposition of monolithic applications, technical debt remediation, and adoption of modern architectural practices such as microservices and APIs.
- Provide oversight on technology-related issues in cloud-native product development, promoting API reuse and managing down technical debt across the organization.
- Drive innovation, solve complex problems, influence stakeholders, and adapt to dynamic environments while delivering business value through optimized architectural solutions.
Experience Requirements:
- 12-16 years of strong experience in solution architecture, with demonstrated experience presenting architecture artefacts to governance boards.
- Proficient in applying architecture patterns to accelerate solution design and decision-making.
- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Broad technical knowledge across software, infrastructure, and cloud domains; able to engage in technical discussions with engineering teams.
- Familiarity with enterprise software development and API-based integration, including tools like Spring Boot, Kong, and microservices.
- Experience in consultancy or customer-facing roles within software vendors or large-scale service environments.
- Proven track record in delivering end-to-end architecture in complex stakeholder environments with mixed-shore teams.
- Practical experience in the financial services domain, especially in risk-related areas.
- Exposure to digital and enterprise architectural transformations, refactoring legacy systems, and managing technical debt.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively across business and IT functions.
