Looking for a highly experienced a Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and resilient cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform. You will work across teams to plan migrations, optimize network performance, and ensure the reliability and cost-efficiency of our multi-VPC cloud environments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Architect and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, EBS, ENI, IPAM) with a focus on resiliency, scalability, and security.
- Lead cloud migration projects (CIA) from on-prem to AWS environments.
- Design and implement multi-VPC architectures, including peering, routing, and segmentation strategies.
- Define and manage network architecture including BGP routing, subnetting, and traffic flow.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to manage infrastructure lifecycle.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization across environments.
- Work closely with security and DevOps teams to enforce IAM policies, network security, and cost governance.
- Continuously analyze and optimize cloud costs through right-sizing and usage patterns
Mandatory Skills:
- 13-15 years total experience, with at least 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps roles, with at least 2-3 years in a lead or senior capacity.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS core services: EC2, VPC, EBS, ENI, IPAM, and IAM.
- Deep knowledge of network architecture, subnetting, and BGP routing in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Proven expertise in Terraform and managing complex environments through IaC.
- Experience planning and executing on-prem to cloud migrations (CIA).
- Strong understanding of resiliency, reliability, and best practices for high availability infrastructure.
- Demonstrated success in multi-VPC design and management across large-scale environments.
- Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies and tools.
