Oversee and guide junior architects and designers, reviewing their work for quality, innovation, and compliance with the project’s design goals.
Ensure that all architectural deliverables are on schedule and meet project milestones, adjusting plans as needed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and managing their expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure designs comply with U.S. building codes, zoning laws, accessibility standards (ADA), fire safety, and other regulatory requirements based on client inputs.
Lead and mentor junior architects, designers, and interns. This includes overseeing their work, providing feedback, and helping them grow professionally.
Provide solutions for complex design or construction challenges, often working with clients to resolve issues.
Conduct regular reviews to ensure that the architectural design aligns with the client’s vision, is technically sound, and meets all required standards.
Assist in business development activities, including pitching to potential clients, writing proposals, estimating time lines for new projects and helping to secure new projects.
Propose and integrate innovative solutions to improve design efficiency, functionality, and sustainability.
Ensure all design documents, reports, and contracts are completed, maintained, and shared appropriately with clients.
Certifications in the core architectural field or in sustainable building design, such as LEED AP, LEED Green Associate (LEED GA), or other similar certifications, would be advantageous
