Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, the Junior Software Developer will design, code, test, modify, and debug computer software. This role involves researching and analyzing program or system problems, developing program documentation, and translating business requirements into secure and maintainable code. The candidate will support the configuration of all aspects of the GenTax® COTS application.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in computer science or management information systems.
Citizenship: US Citizenship or Green Card status is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience working with software development organizations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL).
Experience in Microsoft .NET.
Other Notes:
The Department of Revenue (DOR) will conduct a background check on all candidates considered for the position. Individuals must be compliant with Georgia tax obligations.

Candidates must be willing to relocate to Georgia for at least the duration of the contract if they are not already residents of Georgia.
