Description

Job Duties :

Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects in banking, healthcare insurance, and airline domains; perform business modeling, feasibility studies, impact analysis and gap analysis; use MS Project, Rally and Visio to develop and update project plans for IT projects including objectives, technologies required, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding and staffing; coordinate requirement artifact preparation; coordinate with necessary teams during the SDLC to keep project on track; lead and guide the work of the development team; gather and interpret business requirements and ensure that they are translated into BRDs, technical specifications and test documentation; assign tasks to project staff, monitor progress and track project milestones and deliverables; confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems; schedule and facilitate meetings; serve as a liaison between client and development team; prepare project status reports; manage QA tasks through project implementation and assist team in fixing defects; deliver test summary reports; manage project delivery process and obtain user signoff on deliverables; and assist the team in using the following tools/technologies to accomplish project goals: Windows, UNIX, Linux, Oracle, SQL Server, Toad, Selenium, TFS, Quality Center, Soap UI, Ant, Maven, SQL, UML, C/C++, HTML, XML, AJAX, JSP, JUnit, SVN and related tools.

Work Location :

Various unanticipated work locations throughout the United States; relocation may be required. Must be willing to relocate.
