We are seeking a highly skilled **Jira Technical Engineer** for a remote contract position, supporting global teams in a flexible IST afternoon-to-evening shift.

### ✅ Key Responsibilities:

* Administer, configure, and customize Jira projects, workflows, and permissions
* Develop automations, scripts, and custom integrations using Jira APIs and add-ons
* Provide technical support and troubleshoot system issues
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams for Jira enhancements and reporting
* Maintain documentation and ensure best practices in Jira usage

### 🎯 Requirements:

* **8+ years** of experience in Jira administration and development
* Strong expertise with Jira workflows, automation, JQL, and REST APIs
* Experience in remote project support
* Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Available during 2 PM – 11 PM IST (flexible)
