JavaScript WCAG Consultant

Job Description:

· Strong problem solving and communication skills.

· Candidate must be willing to work in PST hours with some overlap working hours with teams in India.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Work hours aligned with Redmond time zone (required for collaborating with engineers who are mostly in Redmond).

· Solid technical aptitude and a passion for quality, strong debugging skills, experience designing and implementing web components.

· Experience with implementing Web Accessibility standards, WCAG 2.0+, a11y testing.

· Familiarity with Screen Reader tools, such as JAWS and NVDA.

· Familiarity with templated JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, etc.)

· Experience with Azure DevOps or similar work item tracking.

· Strong programming skills with several languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML / CSS, git source control

· Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and organizational skills.

· Great curiosity and willingness to question, undaunted by hard technical problems

· Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.
