JavaScript Developer

Honda is seeking a skilled JavaScript Developer with experience in SASS and OneTrust to join their team in Torrance, CA. This is a crucial role as Honda is undergoing an audit and requires immediate support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving web applications while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations using OneTrust.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Utilize SASS (Syntactically Awesome Stylesheets) for styling and responsive design.

Implement and manage OneTrust privacy compliance tools.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Ensure applications meet privacy and security standards.

Troubleshoot and optimize code for performance and scalability.

Work in a fast-paced environment to meet aggressive deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of professional experience in JavaScript development.

Proficiency in SASS for advanced styling.

Hands-on experience with OneTrust privacy management software.

Strong knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular is a plus).

Experience working with RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with privacy laws and regulations (CCPA, GDPR, etc.) is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work on-site in Torrance, CA or within Los Angeles/Orange County.

Preferred Skills:Experience with TypeScript.

Knowledge of backend development (Node.js, Express, or similar).

Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
