JAVA/FHIR DEVELOPER

Overview:

One FHIR and JAVA skilled developer is needed to assist with the implementation of a Healthcare Interoperability project. The developer will work with a development team and the business team in the design, development, and implementation of FHIR-based API solutions to meet the CMS requirements.

Technical and Professional Requirements:

• Hands on experience with PostgreSQL and in programming languages such as Java, Spring boot, Javascript
• Strong understanding of HL7 FHIR 4.0.1 standard and FHIR implementation guides like DaVinci, CARIN, US Core etc.
• Experience performing data mapping of Source data sets to FHIR resources
• At least 2 years of experience in HL7 FHIR implementation.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development
• Hand on experience using OAuth
• Deep understanding of cloud services
• Experience securing API’s

Responsibilities:

• Extensive familiarity with the FHIR specification & the FHIR infrastructure. HL7 FHIR
• Competence: Exhibit an in-depth understanding of HL7 FHIR standards and their application to the exchange of healthcare data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define specifications for data exchange
• Create conceptual and detailed architecture for APIs using FHIR resources
• Design, develop, and implement HL7 FHIR interfaces and solutions
• Test and troubleshoot HL7 FHIR implementations to ensure reliability and compatibility
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the web application with FHIR API endpoints and other data sources in a seamless manner.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing HL7 FHIR interfaces
