Responsibilities

  • Support production operations by researching production incidents, proposing and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure high quality of deliverables while enforcing development best practices.
  • Involve in application development including functional and technical specifications, design, development and support.
  • Ability to analyze explain outputs and suggest enhancements.

Required Skills

  • Possess strong Mainframe/COBOL/DB2 skills.
  • Apply knowledge of Mainframe/COBOL, Java, DB2, and JCL techs to perform system impact analysis and prepare detailed system designs.
  • Working knowledge of Relational Databases (DB2).
  • Working knowledge of distributed programming languages.

Required Experience

  • 9+ years of exp. Java 8, Spring Boot, Microservices. Mainframe.
  • 8+ years of experience in Cobol/ JCL Development.
  • Experience in IBM CICS.
  • Experience in MQ.
  • Experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance of complex applications.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
