Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with experience in Banking/Finance to join our team onsite for a Custodian System Development Project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java and Angular development with a strong background in Microsoft SQL Server and API integrations. This role requires close collaboration with the team: BA, PM, QA professionals, and offshore teams to develop, monitor, and optimize the new custody system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work onsite at the client’s location in New York.
  • Develop and integrate transaction input systems through APIs.
  • Ensure captured transactions are stored accurately in the database.
  • Implement error detection mechanisms and provide user-friendly solutions for modifying transactions.
  • Develop a reconciliation process for daily transactions.
  • Design and maintain an automated monitoring system for financial transactions via GUI.
  • Aggregate cash transaction data and ensure proper General Ledger (GL) booking.
  • Develop and maintain Forex request submission and transaction reporting systems.
  • Ensure proper static data maintenance for FX transactions.
  • Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and system debugging.
  • Ensure smooth communication and delivery by effectively collaborating with onshore and offshore teams.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in software development.
  • Experience in financial transactions processing and compliance.
  • Familiarity with custodian systems is a plus.
  • Proficient in English. Japanese/Vietnamese is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Java and Angular. Focus more in back end
  • Strong experience with SQL Server (on-premise) for data management.
  • Knowledge of API development and integration (JSON data passing).
  • Strong expertise in back-end development with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in banking or financial services with custodian experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
