Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Manage the production and other environment problem determination, remediation and reporting.
• Responsible for providing business requested enhancements and improvements to Web based applications.
• Timely reports source data issues to other groups or vendors.
• Responsible for maintaining application artifacts and documentation.
• Work with architecture to ensure optimized technical design and performance for application.
• Support non-scheduled activities necessary to keep applications functional.
• Responsible for enhancing the current systems and new systems development.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Java, Tomcat, AngularJS, Angular, React.
• Extremely fluent with JSP and Servlets.
• Good knowledge of Web Frameworks : Spring, Jersey.
• Ability to understand Service-oriented architecture/web services (SOAP/REST).
• Mastery of Web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery.
• Development skills on Markup languages like XML and JSON.
• Should have skills in SQL, Linux.
• Proficient in J2EE, WebSphere.

Required Experience

• 6+ years relevant work experience; development preferred.
• Experience with Java 1.8, J2EE.
• Experience building web applications.
• Experience building RESTful web services based applications.
• Experience with server-side frameworks such as Spring MVC.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries, especially Angular.
• Experience working with common RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
