Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing efficiently.
• Design/build tools and frameworks that support deploying and managing customer applications,
  including batch and real-time data processing.
• Manage deployment packaging, testing, and implementation.
• Collaborate with all other IT teams across the organization to
  ensure releases are delivered with repeatable and auditable processes.
• Analyze and understand existing programs, job flows, and components.
• Perform unit, integration and parallel testing.
• Assist in investigating production issues and provide solutions.
• Evaluate and Recommend new technologies and update versions of existing ones.
• Build, refresh, and administer deployment environments.

Required Skills

• Good understand of front-end technologies such as AngularJS, DOJO, JSP as well as proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
• Must have Spring boot and other spring technologies.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN.
• Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve
  performance.
• Must demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making
  skills.
• Should be a self-starter who is excited to relentlessly solve many technical challenges.

Required Experience

• At least 5 years of SDLC experience using Java technologies.
• At least 1 year of experience in one of the following: RDBMS, SQL, No-SQL, RDS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Technical Experience bull Java 8 or above with an understanding of streams and lambda functions.
• At least 1 years experience in one of the following Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Ansible, Chef or Terraform.
• 4+ years’ experience in Java, J2EE, Web Services, RESTFUL APIs, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JSON and XML.
• 3+ years experience coding and using Javascript Frameworks such as AngularJS, Jquery and NodeJS.
• 3+ years experience with one of the following Web services like SOAP, REST and JSON.
• 2+ years experience in one of the following Build and CICD technologies: lSVN, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus or Sonar.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
