Java/J2EE, Springboot and Oracle PL/SQL
Looking for Experience in JMS, kafka, SOAP/REST Webservices, Quartz scheduler, ORM frameworks like Hibernate/ibatis/Mybatis

• What are the top 3 “nice to have” that would separate a successful candidate from their competition?
Public Cloud, UNIX/LINUX bash/shell scripting and any UI framework technologies like Angular JS, React JS

• What type of background would you like this person to have? How many years of experience are required?
Financial background and 7+ years of experience

• What will the interview process look like (phone screen, face to face, meet with team, how many rounds, etc)? Is there a test in the interview the candidate should be prepared for?
Zoom call initially and some face to face in Boston ideally afterwards to meet with some existing team members for further interview

There may be some technical questions but not necessarily a written test.

What are the working hours, time zone?
8 AM – 5 PM EST. This role will be hybrid with 4 days onsite in Boston, MA.

Perform designing, coding, unit testing and code reviewing. And provide support for production issues

Job Description

Local to Boston 3-4 days a week. 7:30/8 AM start to overlap with the UK and India

Must haves: Java/J2EE, Springboot and Oracle PL/SQL. Financial services experience

Nice to haves: Kafka, SOAP/REST Webservices, Quartz Scheduler, ORM frameworks like Hibernate/ibatis/Mybatis

Some database work but mostly debugging.

Good comm skills both written and verbal

Interviews: 1st round video call, 2nd round in person with technical questions/verbal test.

7 years of experience.

Securities finance/FX experience are a plus
