Java Architect with COBOL

Application architect and developer using Java, OpenText Exstream software, Cobol and DB2 to assemble data and create correspondence for mailing.
Duties
Production support of existing applications
Analysis, design, coding, and unit/integration testing
Create and update program specification and detail design documentation.
Application performance tuning
Mentor junior programmers.
Application development for modernization effort
Mandatory Requirements
Experience (12+ Years)
Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-levelled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.
Requirements

72 months of experience with Java programming in an IBM environment development using IBM’s Rational Application Developer (RAD) and WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
84 months of experience developing tax processing systems in a federal, state, or municipal agency
84 months installing, configuring, patching, testing Open Text Exstream software and architecting the design of complex business applications.
84 months of IBM Mainframe COBOL programming experience
84 months of IBM DB2 for z/OS experience
