J2EE Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop robust, elegant, and easily maintainable code using multiple technologies on multiple platforms.
• Work closely with clients, business analysts and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
• Review test plans and support testers during the execution of functional, load and user acceptance testing.
• Contribute to prioritization of bug fixes, patches, and enhancement requests and provide accurate estimates for development efforts.
• Self-motivate, goal oriented with a high degree of accountability.

Required Skills

• Good at SQL and experience with Oracle or any major database product.
• Well versed with Eclipse IDE.
• Basic knowledge of working on Linux.
• Good Front End knowledge (JAVASCRIPT, HTML5 and related frameworks).
• ITIL Foundations certification a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp).

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a developer using specific platforms or technologies such as J2EE/JAVA deployed to an application server.
• 5 years of experience with relational databases and SQL, stored procedures, triggers and other database objects.
• 5 years of front-end experience using JavaScript/jQuery with JSON.
• 3 years of experience using established design patterns.
• 2 years of experience working with solution designers.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field.
