 Job Description

An IVR (Interactive Voice Response) developer is a software developer who specializes in designing, developing, and implementing interactive voice response systems. These systems are used in call centers and other customer service environments to direct calls, provide information to callers, and perform other tasks without the need for a human operator.

IVR developers work with various programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python. They also work with IVR platforms like Avaya, Cisco, Genesys, and others. They design voice user interfaces, develop speech recognition and text-to-speech applications, integrate IVR systems with databases or other business systems, conduct testing, and troubleshoot issues.

They also need to understand telephony systems, network protocols, and web services. They often collaborate with other software developers, business analysts, and IT professionals in order to create efficient and effective IVR solutions.
