IT Security Engineer

- Preference: Candidates with Govt/Federal experience and relevant certifications
- Work Schedule: Hybrid, requires regular on-site reporting
- Required Skills: Experience in network architectural design, knowledge of LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, VMs, virtual networks, IT security requirements, Lean IT concepts. Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or Computer Science and Active Cisco certifications are required.
- Job Description: The role involves developing and maintaining network architecture, providing technical solutions, conducting research on emerging technologies, planning and acquiring network devices, designing LANs, WANs, VMs, virtual networks, and more.
- Duties & Responsibilities: Includes strategy & planning, acquisition & deployment, operational management.
- Qualifications: 10 years' experience in network architectural design and operational excellence, knowledge of IT security requirements, experience with Lean IT concepts, Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or Computer Science, and Active Cisco certifications.
- Technical Skills: Excellent documentation skills, strong communication skills, ability to perform mathematical calculations, highly self-motivated and directed, attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
