We are seeking a skilled IT Network Engineer II to join Client Network team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and maintaining network devices and solutions that align with Client technology standards. This position focuses on refreshing legacy Layer 2 and Layer 3 Cisco assets with Arista DCS and CCS platform switches, utilizing Arista AVD and CloudVision to meet the evolving connectivity needs of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a network subject matter expert, providing technical expertise and design support.
- Deploy, maintain, and administer network environments, focusing on WAN, LAN, network software, hardware, and tools.
- Implement and support routing protocols, including EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
- Work with Cisco and Arista DCS and CCS platforms, leveraging Arista AVD and CloudVision.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve network hardware, software, and system issues efficiently.
- Participate in root cause analysis for incidents, identifying preventive measures and implementing solutions.
- Create, review, update, and maintain technical documentation, including functional specifications, network designs, operations guides, and runbooks.
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and current.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s degree plus relevant experience (minimum required); Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 4–5+ years in network analysis, implementation, support, and troubleshooting in large enterprise or telecommunications environments.
- Certifications: CCNP or equivalent Arista certification.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding and implementation of Layer 3 routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
- Proficiency with Cisco and Arista DCS and CCS platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Arista CloudVision (required) and Arista AVD (preferred).
