IT Network Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced IT Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network systems. As an IT Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability to meet business needs.

Responsibilities:

 

• Design, implement, and support complex network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.).
• Configure, monitor, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner, including performance optimization and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions with business systems.
• Perform network security management including firewall configuration, access control, and intrusion prevention.
• Conduct regular network performance assessments and implement necessary improvements.
• Manage network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and change logs.
• Provide network support to users and resolve network-related queries.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices for network management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant network security and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 4-5 years of experience in network engineering, with hands-on experience in network design and troubleshooting.
• Strong expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other network hardware.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
• Proficiency in network security technologies (firewall configurations, VPNs, intrusion detection systems).
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking and SD-WAN is a plus.
