Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and summarize data to support informed business decisions. Create detailed reports to identify patterns and insights.
  • Data Integrity: Validate data sources and ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy and security standards through profiling and validation processes.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to gather and document business requirements. Facilitate meetings to explore and define data-driven solutions.
  • System Integration: Partner with application development teams to address information flow and content issues, optimizing the reuse of data across the organization.
  • Testing & Problem-Solving: Develop test scenarios and plans, analyze results, and assist in resolving technical challenges. Provide on-call escalation support for production issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed functional documentation and deliver all artifacts on schedule.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data warehousing and data mart environments.
  • Expertise in Oracle databases, SQL/PL SQL, indexing, partitioning, performance tuning, and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and data warehouse methodologies (Bill Inmon, Ralph Kimball).
  • Proficiency in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of healthcare-specific domains, including EDI transactions, Medicare/Medicaid, ACA, and commercial insurance products.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills
