Description

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on IT Asset Management (ITAM) Practice Leader to take ownership of the complete IT asset lifecycle—from procurement to disposal. This role is key to ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with regulations, and optimization of technology resources. The ITAM Practice Leader will work closely with cross-functional teams including technology, security, business, and executive leadership to implement and maintain effective ITAM practices.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets including procurement, tracking, deployment, and disposal.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize ITAM policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate across business and technical units to drive ITAM value and risk mitigation.
  • Lead and support a team of ITAM Analysts.
  • Conduct regular audits, reporting, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Generate ITAM reports, scorecards, KPIs, KRIs, and End-of-Life tracking metrics for leadership.
  • Stay informed on FFIEC, NIST, and CoBIT standards; identify emerging trends and areas for process improvement.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in ITAM risk assessment and governance efforts. 

     

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT asset management or related IT roles.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing ITAM policies and tools.
  • Familiarity with IT compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FFIEC, CoBIT) is a strong plus.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in enterprise-level IT environments.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 

     

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with reporting tools and ITAM dashboards.
  • Background in financial services or heavily regulated industries.
  • ITIL, CSAM, or other ITAM-related certifications (desirable but not mandatory)
