We are seeking an iOS Engineer to join our M&E (Monitoring & Enhancement) support team. This role is part of a global engineering group delivering 16x7 support for mobile applications. As a member of this team, you will help maintain and improve iOS applications, contributing to system stability and user satisfaction. You will be part of a rotating shift team responsible for ensuring system uptime, performance, and rapid incident resolution.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in identifying and resolving iOS issues in production environments.
• Support code maintenance and small enhancements to existing applications.
• Work closely with senior engineers to monitor app performance and reliability.
• Participate in incident resolution and documentation of support procedures.
• Contribute to a knowledge base of known issues and solutions.
• Assist with 16x7 support coverage activities, including shift transitions and escalation notifications.
Qualifications
• 2–3 years of experience in iOS development using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Familiarity with Xcode, UIKit, MVVM pattern, debugging tools, and testing frameworks.
• Good understanding of app store deployment and version control (Git).
• Interest in production support, troubleshooting, and continuous learning.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a rotational or flexible schedule to support 16x7 operations.
• Proficient in English (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., New Relic, GCP Logs).
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions) and mobile app deployment processes.
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Cloud Functions, Firebase, and Pub/Sub.
• Previous work in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience working with global, multicultural teams.
