Description

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and supporting integration processes using the Boomi AtomSphere platform.
  • Develop and configure integrations using Boomi connectors (e.g., REST, SOAP, databases, ERP, CRM systems).
  • Build integration components, including maps, processes, profiles, and connectors.
  • Ensure integration development components follow development best practices, standard naming conventions, and deployment standards.
  • Collaborate with senior developers to perform code reviews and ensure adherence to the code review checklist.
  • Ensure code components and corresponding documentation are carefully reviewed and approved by the CoE team before deployment.
  • Update assigned tasks in Boomi project management space, providing daily status updates and addressing any dependencies.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and data synchronization problems.
  • Conduct unit testing, ensure integration quality, and perform ongoing optimizations for performance and scalability.
  • Provide detailed documentation for integration processes, components, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Develop integration components with reference to design and mapping requirements provided by senior developers.
  • Stay up to date with Boomi platform updates, new features, and best practices.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology or related field required.
  • 3 years of experience in the middleware integration space, including 2+ years working specifically with the Boomi integration platform.

  • Boomi Professional Developer Certification
  • Boomi Event Streams Certification
  • Boomi EDI Essentials
  • Boomi API Design Certification
  • Experience in developing, installing, configuring, and deploying Boomi integration processes and API services.
  • Knowledge of Boomi EDI essentials, including setting up trading partners and standard X12 profile setups, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Groovy scripting is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of API formats (JSON, XML) and Web Service protocols (REST, SOAP).
  • Proficiency in API testing and methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, and contract testing. Familiarity with tools like Postman, SoapUI, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
