Role Overview:
Reporting to the Technical Delivery Lead the Integration Lead will be responsible for owning the Workday integration strategy, design and delivery across the programme. This responsibility includes working with relevant stakeholders from the Workday programme, within the business or externally, to provide direction, guidance, support, input into the integration design at all levels and acceptance of the end-state solution.
You will lead a small team of individuals and will be responsible for the Workday integration approach and recommending the best fit solution for each integration
Responsibilities:
- Leading the development of the integration strategy alongside our Workday Implementation Partner and Programme Leadership
- Leading the analysis of current state integrations with our existing systems and future state integrations with Workday, including new integrations that may be required
- Reviewing existing artefacts including integration and system design documentation, sample files, database tables or views
- Attending functional workshop sessions to understand the requirements and new solution design, including any localisation requirements
- Collaborating with Workday functional teams and market teams to understand integration touch points as it relates to both Workday and end-to-end business processes
- Conducting integration and technical workshops, in collaboration with our Workday Implementation Partner and any external vendors where required
- Reviewing and approving integration design specifications for Workday and inbound integrations for other systems
- Collaborating across workstreams and with key stakeholders to ensure the integration strategy and approach are understood and guiding principles are followed
- Working with the Technical Lead and Test Lead to develop and agree suitable test scripts and scenarios to validate the integrations and end-to-end processes within the final solution
- Managing and guiding the integration support team members
- Planning key activities and milestones for the integration workstream
- Escalating risks or issues encountered or anticipated to the Programme Management Teamas early as possible, to ensure minimal impact to the wider programme.
- Conduct meetings with Workday to complete the Delivery Assurance of integrations duringdesign and build phase.
Experience Requirements:
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- An excellent technical aptitude
- Experience in service-oriented architecture design principles, common ERP HCM/Financials integration design patterns, phased implementation methodologies
- Demonstrated proficiency with Web Services, SOAP, XML, XSLT, REST, JSON, HTTP, SSL,PGP, SAML, etc.
- Knowledge of programming and documentation procedures, programming methods, program flow charts and operator instructions
- Ability to develop and manage effective internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Ability to recognise, prioritise and manage conflicting opinions or requirements in different markets
- Strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities; able to communicate effectively with diverse people and individuals at various levels within the organisation

- A natural ability to simplify a complex problem and explain technical concepts to HR professionals with non-technical backgrounds in a concise way.
Technical Knowledge and Experience
- A minimum of 5 years' experience with integrations
- A minimum of 5 years' project experience in a technical or techno-functional role with one ormore ERP implementations in HCM or Financials.
- Workday integration experience is essential
- Experience with working in our key markets would be highly desirable.
