Infrastructure Testing Governance Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Define and implement governance frameworks for infrastructure testing, covering hardware, network, storage, cloud, and platform layers.

Develop testing standards, strategies, and policies to ensure infrastructure readiness and resilience.

Oversee the execution of infrastructure testing activities including failover, disaster recovery (DR), patch validation, capacity testing, performance validation, and system upgrades.

Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to align testing practices with enterprise-wide compliance and risk management standards.

Act as a governance point of contact for audits, controls, and regulatory inquiries related to infrastructure testing.

Monitor testing coverage, results, and issue resolution using dashboards, metrics, and reports.

Provide leadership during incident simulations and infrastructure test events, ensuring post-test reviews and lessons learned are documented and acted upon.

Ensure that infrastructure changes are validated through controlled and documented test processes before going into production.

Establish and manage test environments, including scheduling, configuration control, and coordination across teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

7+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Testing, or Quality Assurance, with at least 2–3 years in a governance or leadership role.

Strong knowledge of ITIL, Change Management, and infrastructure testing methodologies.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, and on-prem infrastructure.

Familiarity with compliance and audit frameworks (e.g., SOX, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).

Hands-on experience with infrastructure monitoring, test automation, and test management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, HP ALM, Selenium, etc.).
