About the Role:
- Supporting 2 separate infrastructure projects simultaneously
- This resource will work under the direction of more senior project staff
- Must be commutable within distance to Hershey (exact # of days on site to come but make sure they are local and willing to work onsite)
- 6m assignment to start but more likely than not will be 12-18 months
Net Segmentation Project Specific – 50% Assignment
- Familiarity with network segmentation concepts and large scale device migrations
- Attention to detail, including ability to track individual DHCP, medical, IT and IOT devices from planning through migration
- Ability to create and modify network diagrams to meet cyber security requirements
Avaya Phone Deployment Project – 50% Assignment
- Familiarity with telecommunication systems, VoIP technology, and IT infrastructure.
- Knowledge of how the new phone system will integrate with existing clinical workflows and systems.
General Skills needed:
- Disciplined approach to project status reporting, adhering to PSH published guidelines, including alignment with overall program reporting requirements
- Ability to create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resourcing.
- Identifying potential risks and developing a mitigation strategy.
- Effective communication with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, IT staff, and vendors.
- Understanding of hospital operations
- Leading and motivating a diverse team to achieve project goals.
- Quickly addressing and resolving issues that arise during the project.
- Being flexible and responsive to changes in scope or unexpected challenges.
- Engaging with and managing expectations of all stakeholders involved in the project.
- Ensuring that the project outcomes enhance patient care and do not disrupt healthcare services.
