Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description:

• Design and deploy: Create and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure
• Automate: Use scripts and GCP tools to automate cloud operations
• Analyze and optimize: Monitor and analyze resource usage to improve efficiency and cost
• Back up and recover: Implement strategies to protect against data loss and ensure business continuity
• Collaborate: Work with development teams to understand business needs and implement solutions
• Secure and comply: Contribute to cloud security assessments and compliance initiatives
• Lead migration: Ensure minimal downtime and data integrity when migrating to the cloud

Necessary Skills:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform Design.
• The knowledge of at least one programming language, e.g., Python, Java, or Go, is empirical for the creation and start-up of applications on GCP.
• A prior experience with continuous integration and deployment and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and Ansible will make it more seamless for one to manage the cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of security best practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Certification:

• Google Cloud certifications, such as the Associate Cloud Engineer certification, AWS Certifications
