Able to troubleshoot and triage system alerts for senior level issues.
Experience with typical application landscape within an enterprise data center environment
Experience with implementing and maintaining virtualized environments (e.g. VMware)
Strong experience with Linux and Windows system administration including security and patch management.
Solid understanding of networking principles including networking protocols, basic routing, ports, and firewalls
Experience with supporting hardware (Client servers, NetApp storage, and multi-vendor network devices) in virtualized environments
Scripting and automation skills - Python, PowerShell, PowerCLI or equivalent
Experience monitoring network storage space and capacity usage
Able to Client opportunities for automation by identifying manual, repetitive, tactical operational workloads and develop automation scripts, tools, and/or frameworks to optimize and standardize.
Ability to work across multi-functional teams
Can function Independently and mentor junior engineers
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in heterogenous environments for engineers and customers
