Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the operational health and stability of infrastructure platforms, focusing on service, risk, cost, and personnel aspects.
  • Maintain and support systems, utilities, and tools used by the platform to ensure continuous performance and availability.
  • Collaborate with feature teams to enhance infrastructure capabilities in a dynamic and evolving technology environment.
  • Provide input and support to ensure platform integrity, aligning with technical roadmaps and change demands.
  • Contribute to robust production management services across infrastructure platforms, enabling resilient operations.
  • Assist in testing products and services early in the lifecycle to validate their viability and ability to deliver business outcomes.
  • Promote a risk-aware culture, ensuring risks are identified, understood, and mitigated throughout platform operations.
  • Participate in planning and execution activities within the platform and service feature requests from cross-platform initiatives.
  • Support regulatory reporting and compliance requirements, especially related to platform changes.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to simplify infrastructure, architecture, services, and customer solutions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to control frameworks such as SOX, maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory obligations.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with platform teams, domain stakeholders, and cross-domain partners.

Experience Requirement:

  • 4-7 years of experience working in Agile or DevOps environments with a focus on continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts to various stakeholders including management.
  • Practical knowledge of Veritas or Red Hat clustering, partitioning, virtualization, and storage administration.
  • Hands-on experience in Unix, Linux, Solaris environments, including VERITAS clustering and VXVM implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience with Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and conducting DR testing.
  • Understanding of SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage) migration processes.
  • Familiarity with operating system upgrades, patching strategies, and system hardening best practices.
