Infra Security Engineer

- Job involves working with outsourced devops team
- Role involves supporting and maintaining the cybersecurity infrastructure of the organization
- Key responsibilities include designing secure network architectures, applying advanced security measures, managing security policies on firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Administer continuous vulnerability management using Qualys WAS
- Need expertise in scripting languages like Python and PowerShell for automation tasks
- Role involves managing application integrations, securing firewall/networking systems, and remediation of network vulnerabilities
- Proficiency with Azure, Cloudflare, Fortinet solutions is required
- Will aid in response to security incidents and breaches
- Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in security operations and procedures, following NIST CSF 2.0 cybersecurity framework and ITIL guidelines
- Providing second-level technical support and troubleshooting for IT and cybersecurity systems
- 7+ years of experience in administering a medium to large corporate infrastructure
- Relevant industry certifications like CCNP, CEH, Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700), and Fortinet certifications
- 4-year degree from an accredited college or university is a plus
- Must possess strong professional communication skills
- Need to independently execute multiple directives with minimal supervision
- Must demonstrate a willingness to learn and contribute by sharing experiences and ideas
- Should take ownership and responsibility for specific roles and assigned administrative functions
