Job Description:
The Department of Labor (DOL) is seeking a senior-level developer to support several projects, including the acquisition of applications for a new Paid Family Medical Leave program. The selected candidate will work with a vendor during the requirement and implementation/tailoring phases of the project, receive training in application administration, and continue to support the application post-implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a vendor to identify project requirements.
- Administer and tailor Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications.
- Follow the State of Maine (SOM) Deployment Certification process.
- Utilize MS SQL Services, including SSIS and SSRS, to support application needs.
- Perform clear and effective communication, both verbal and written.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience working with vendors to identify requirements.
- 5 years of experience administering and tailoring COTS applications.
- 8 years of experience using MS SQL Services, including SSIS and SSRS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
