Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Information Security Analyst Intern to join our cybersecurity team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience with real-world security tools, processes, and threats. You will assist with monitoring security systems, performing risk assessments, and supporting incident response efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in monitoring and analyzing security alerts from various sources (e.g., SIEM, antivirus, firewall).

Help conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits.

Support incident response activities, including evidence collection and documentation.

Review and update security documentation, policies, and procedures.

Participate in threat intelligence gathering and reporting.

Collaborate with IT teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks.

Assist in user awareness training and phishing simulation campaigns.

Stay current with emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.

Required Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Basic understanding of security principles, networking, and system administration.

Familiarity with security tools is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
