IBM InfoSphere CDC Consultant

We are seeking an experienced IBM InfoSphere CDC Consultant for a critical project with our client in the banking sector. The consultant will play a key role in the implementation and management of database replication processes using IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (IIDR), and will focus on Change Data Capture (CDC) methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (IIDR): Expertise in configuring and managing database replication solutions using IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (IIDR).
• Change Data Capture (CDC): Extensive hands-on experience in implementing and managing Change Data Capture (CDC) strategies to ensure real-time data synchronization and replication.
• Red Hat OpenShift: Proficiency in working with Red Hat OpenShift, including deploying, scaling, and managing applications within the OpenShift platform.
• Kafka: Knowledge of Kafka is a plus, with the ability to integrate and manage Kafka for event streaming and real-time data processing as part of the CDC and replication solutions.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Strong expertise in IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (IIDR) and CDC techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, including working on deploying and scaling containerized applications.
• Familiarity with Kafka and how it integrates into data replication and event-driven architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Experience working in the banking or financial services domain is preferred, but not required.
