Summary:

  • The Technical Project Manager will lead a team of IAM engineers responsible for implementation of various Identity and Access Governance products.
  • This role involves both hands-on technical leadership and strategic management, ensuring that the engineering team delivers high-quality solutions that meet the needs of the business.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Identity and Access Governance, Cybersecurity, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation within the team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of IAM engineers. Provide regular feedback and technical guidance.
  • Technical Strategy: Develop and execute the technical strategy for IAM engineering, aligning it with the overall IAM strategy and business goals.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IAM engineering projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, within budget and aligned with business objectives.
  • Process Change Orders when necessary. Develop and maintain RAID logs and other project artifacts.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand their IAM needs and finalize the project objectives to deliver solutions.
  • Provide clear, effective, timely internal and external communications, escalations paths and process.
  • Resource Management: Manage the team’s workload and resource allocation, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR on recruitment and onboarding of the candidates
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior leadership and all relevant stakeholders on project status, team performance, and key metrics.


Qualification and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in IAM engineering specifically in SailPoint IIQ, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Project Management, Planning and Execution, Communication Management, Stakeholder Management, Problem Solving and Decision Making.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall & Hybrid methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Tools.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles and best practices
  • Knowledge of Security best practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
  • PMP/Prince certification will be advantageous.
