We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and manage recruitment efforts for both India and the US. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies, ensuring compliance with local labour laws, and fostering a positive candidate experience. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align hiring practices with organizational goals while maintaining a strong talent pipeline across both regions.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement tailored recruitment strategies for India and the US, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand position requirements and create compelling job descriptions
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and final selection
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to ensure readiness for current and future hiring needs
Compliance and Legal Adherence
- Ensure recruitment practices comply with labor laws and regulations in both India and the US
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation in both regions to guarantee fair hiring processes
Candidate Experience
- Promote employer branding to attract top talent while creating a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey
- Implement structured onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires into the company culture
Performance Metrics
- Monitor recruitment KPIs (e.g., time-to-hire, offer acceptance rate) to evaluate the effectiveness of hiring strategies and make data-driven improvements
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR colleagues, department heads, and external recruitment agencies, to meet staffing goals
- Provide training and mentorship to junior HR staff involved in recruitment activities
Required Qualifications
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or certifications like SHRM or CIPD are preferred
Experience
- 6+ years of experience in HR management with a focus on recruitment across multiple regions (India & US preferred)
- Proven track record of managing large-scale recruitment campaigns using ATS tools and modern hiring technologies
Skills
- Strong understanding of cultural differences in recruitment practices between India and the US
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships at all levels
- Proficiency in data analysis tools for tracking recruitment metrics
