Hardware Design and Test Engineer

5 to 10 years of embedded hardware design and development 

Knowledge of hardware development lifecycle in automotive and locomotive domains

Knowledge of handling schematic generation tools like Altium, mentor, etc. 

Good understanding of component selection, BOM generation and procurement 

Good knowledge of PCB design and layout generation 

Good knowledge on layout guidelines and review 

Hands on experience on testing and validation utilizing the following platforms: HITL, SITL, system level (preferable Locomotive or Automotive)

Good experience of working with ECU, ECM, BCM and BMS modules in automotive domain 

Good knowledge of simulation tools like LTSpice and PSpice

Strong understanding of various communication protocols (Serial RS232/422, CAN or ethernet).
