Description

SAP HANA is an in-memory database and data management platform. SAP HANA Cloud is the database as a service (DBaaS) offering based on SAP HANA. We are looking for talented individuals for the Seoul part of our distributed SAP HANA Performance team that are passionate about the performance related aspects of software development.

 

What you’ll do

  • Doing explorative performance and root cause analysis in the context of SAP HANA Cloud
  • Analyze and optimize scenarios from internal and external stakeholders
  • Support infrastructure decisions by analyzing performance of landscape configurations
  • Build and extend performance test frameworks
  • Build and extend analysis tools using various technologies
  • Create performance regression tests and benchmarks and support developers in doing so
  • Analyze existing and planned system components written in C++

 

What you’ll bring

Required skills:

  • Experience in implementing and analyzing performance-critical software
  • Ability to analyze and debug complex problems
  • Basic knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design
  • Verbal and written working proficiency in English
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's or Ph.D. is a plus)

 

Preferred skills:

  • Experience with profiling techniques and tools
  • Familiarity with relational database management systems
  • Experience with docker and K8S
  • Knowledge in C++ and python
