Relevant Experience (Yrs)

• Strong experience in Hadoop to Cloudera migration projects
• Strong experience in Hadoop and Cloudera Architecture and workflow
• Experience in Oozie and Spark
• Experience with Unix shell scripting & SQL
• Experience in Onsite-Offshore coordination
• Experience in Test Driven Development
• Experience in Agile processes and DevOps methodologies.

Technical/Functional Skills

• Hadoop and Cloudera
• Oozie and Spark
• CI/CD – Jenkins

Roles & Responsibilities

• perform all relevant technical activities involved in supporting Hadoop to Cloudera upgrade, while upgrading Java-based Spark application.
• Work closely with customers in Hadoop/Cloudera admin team on deployment & support in troubleshooting deployed apps across Prod and Non-Prod regions.
• He / She should be familiar with Hadoop and Cloudera architecture/workflow
• Experience or exposure to the Apache Spark framework is one of the expected primary skillset.
• Previous experience in Hadoop / Cloudera on-prem upgrade will be an added advantage
• Should have knowledge on how to fetch current configuration in Hadoop and propose/create similar config in Cloudera region to make the application work.
• Should be able to support the QA team in arriving at the test case scenarios covering technology stack and Oozie job workflow or similar workflow that flows in Hadoop / Cloudera.
