Hadoop Engineer

Job Duties :

Identify source, target data from various applications to capture the logical data fields and work on the technical specifications Evaluates business unit and end user requests to work on new production issues. Works on technical requirements specifications for current and new system modifications. Work on Datawarehouse, Big Data, Hadoop, Cloud Based Applications. Participate from beginning to end on the SDLC life cycle and/or the operations support model. Work on Data mapping, logical data model, data cleansing and data profiling. Document business language policies and procedures that will be coded in programs, development of analysis reports through information gathered via Easytrieve, CompareX, FileAid, Cognos, NetView to determine and assess impact or action to be taken to correct problems with account and balance data. Prepare, distribute, and present system documentation to end users in addition to preparing ad hoc reports. Participate in JAD, and other design sessions to develop solutions among end users and technical staff. Participate in code review sessions and review Program (e.g. Easytrieve, SQL, VBScript) and review computer codes (e.g. COBOL, SQL, VB). Work on business language policies and procedures that will be coded in programs such as Java, Mainframes, Visual Basic, C++, VBScript, or others.

Work Location :

various unanticipated work locations throughout the United States; relocation may be required. Must be willing to relocate.

Minimum Requirements:

Education : Bachelor – Electronics Engineering( B.E.)
