Hadoop Admin

Experience: 8+ years of experience working with Hadoop ecosystems, with hands-on experience in Hortonworks and/or Cloudera platforms.
Scripting Skills: Proficient in Shell and/or Python scripting for automation and data processing tasks.
* Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HDFS, YARN, Hive, Spark and Kerberos. Experience with Cloudera Manager and Ambari is a plus.
* Migration Experience: Demonstrated experience with Hadoop migrations, including data transfer, configuration changes, and performance tuning
* Familiarity with disaster recovery and backup strategies for Hadoop clusters.
* Problem Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues, with a focus on performance optimization and root cause analysis.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and document migration processes.
* Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

* Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem expertise
* Hands experience over Ansible/Python Automation
* Domain knowledge on 53 storage
* Proficiency in RedHat Linux Administration
* Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Ansible and Docker
* Familiarity with security tools and protocols such as Kerberos, Apache Ranger, and TLS encryption.
* Understanding of network and security concepts such as firewalls, VPNs, DNS, SSL/TLS, and identity and access management.
* Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
* Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL workflows
